Our local florist have been supplying flowers to South Canterbury for over 30 years. The largest flower shop in region, they have the best range of flowers and floral accessories as well as wedding hire accessories. They are open 6 days a week with extended hours over special occasions.

Specialties:

Hosting a huge chiller of fresh flowers and new stock arriving daily, your flowers can be arranged from a variety of different options for same day delivery in Timaru. This family owned florist specialise in bouquets in all colours, arrangements and plants.

Location & Delivery:

Located in Timaru 2 daily delivery runs around Timaru Due to very limited courier options we cannot guarantee same day delivery beyond the town boundary. It is best to expect all deliveries beyond Timaru to be the next day for all orders placed before 2pm. Rural addresses are only able to be delivered to on Tuesday - Friday generally.

These flowers were ordered as a sympathy gift for my brother in Timaru who sadly lost his wife a few days ago. They were proud Scots who loved all things Scottish. I asked if something Scottish related could be added to the bouquet and was delighted with the choice of flowers and they were finished off with a tartan ribbon at no extra cost. Great service, I had flowers booked for Saturday delivery as app said no Sunday delivery, but I received an email from Bloomers florist to say that they would deliver on Sunday for mothers day. This was very much appreciated. Then on Sunday I received a call from my mother in law to say that flowers arrived, she sent us a photo of them and they were beautiful. Beautiful bouquet and card sent from Bloomers Florist for our Uncles funeral down South in Timaru. We were sent confirmation of order then further confirmation plus photographs of the actual bouquet delivered on the day. Only 4 star instead of 5 star because I would have liked to know if they were able to process our special request to have it delivered by noon rather than 2pm as the funeral was at 1pm.

With covid 19 and the fact florists can't guarantee exactly the flowers you order due to supply, it was great to see the end product. The flowers ordered were wilting when my sister got home from work , thought most cut flowers were put in a water pocket. At the very least tex to their cellph would have been helpful when finding no one at home otherwise what is the point of asking for the person's number if you dont intend using it. It was a special birthday and wouldnt this florist again. Very disappointed.

So I decided to branch out from the usual long-distance florist even though in the back of my head I wondered at what risk I shouldn't have worried at all. The recipient (a sick elderly lady) of the flowers was delighted with the arrangement received; and I was happy with the cost and input into the flowers that were to be sent. Wow! I was not only impressed by the reasonable prices, but also with the speed with which the flowers were delivered. I forgot my Grandma's birthday and was hoping to have the flowers delivered at the earliest, a day late. I ordered the flowers at 1230 pm and they were at her door at 330 pm. I'm pretty sure you can't get faster service than that, especially when ordering from the other side of the world. In fact, within 30 minutes of submitting my order, the florist emailed me about the order, letting me know they had received it, sent a picture of the completed flowers, and notified me of the delivery. Service fees and delivery are a screaming deal next to interflora and others, and I will definitely use this again!

Fantastic service when the flowers got lost because I supplied the wrong delivery address. Bloomers found the flowers after a series of well-intentioned people moved them from house to house, and then Bloomers freshened them up so when they were finally delivered to the recipient they were in perfect order. And the flowers were beautiful to look at and smells. Unbelievable service.
